Review plus website for pre-sets

I traded a Fender Champion 30 and a few bucks for this thing and love it thus far. It does a great job with the modeling for a little combo. I can't afford a real AC30, so I figured this was the next best thing.
I took it home plugged in and started switching channels. When I went from 1 to 2, no worries. When I went back from 2 to 1, my gain was gone. I would roll back the gain and get a burst in volume, which plenty scared me because this thing is new. Don't know what that's about, but it does it in default, maybe a tube thing. It does, however, save two settings and they switch back and forth just fine after I saved them. I love it thus far, although I keep reading how loud this thing is. I think the Fender was louder.
It takes some dialing in, especially the bass. After this, no worries.

WOW!

I picked this up used at GTR after going in to look at bass amps. They did not have what I was looking for and then I saw this little thing, used. I heard they were good and gave it a try. It actually does sound like and act like 11 different high quality amps. It is scary good and it is a shame one is limited to 2 programmable channels plus the manual setting. You absolutely have to read the manual. If you are even thinking of getting one of these amps, download the manual from the VOX site. It is a good read and will give you some further insight into what this little beast can do.

"For Beginners ONLY!"

This guitar just looks like a poorly copied Fender Stratocaster, although the headstock on this guitar does look quite a bit better than some copyrighted headstocks on big brand names. But by no means is this guitar for showing off, it is simply a technical guitar.

It is a good value (due to poor quality) for all the equipment you do get in this kit.

The quality is not good on, really, any aspesct of this kit. This is not a road friendly guitar at all. In all, it will probably be fuctional for 3 years tops.

Like the title says, this is for beginners as a first guitar. As soon as you can afford to get a better quality guitar, I recommend doing it.
