"great guitar,ok sound,decent price"

The guitar has crappy stock Epi pickups, which sound ok, but i would replace them immediately! I got mine at a guitar center shop with Grover tuners which are ok.

i wouldnt say its worth $400 maybe $370 or $350

the guitar dents easily and leaves scratches easily,if you got a ebony, you can see everything on it.

great guitar fast neck great quality. the thing i liked least about it was the pickups.

Everyone knows through the annals of rock history how many great tracks have been written with a Big Muff. However, some guitarists wish they could have a more portable way to squeeze one onto their pedalboard or to slog with them on a train ride. This Nano Reissue of the 1969 classic Muff Fuzz in a die-cast aluminum box handles those issues. While adding just a touch of funky dirt for something unique.

Nano Muff

I purchased the nano muff about two months ago. For two months I tried to make it sound good. Finally I found a combination that works for me. I put the nano muff behind a ts-808 and then a lpb-1. Before I did this the muff sounded really terrible. Now it sounds like I thought it should

Close, but no cigar.

One setting, you only control the volume. I can live with that. This pedal hisses (as does the Nano Clone). I have to run it in front of a Para EQ to remove the hiss. I do like the sound of the distortion. Doesn't work well with pedalboards either. If you plug in a Boss Pedal the EH quits, plug in a Marshall the Marshall quits. It has to have it's own powersource or share a daisy chain with other EH pedals. This is annoying, especially considering that it shouldn't be happening by the power specs. You really have to work around this pedal, so you better love the Muff sound (which I do). I don't however, love the power hassle and noise problems.

The Alberta has that creamy overdrive tone reminiscent of a great sounding, vintage TS-808 unit, but is voiced with slightly more bottom end. When the gain is turned up towards maximum, the pedal behaves much the same as a vintage Tube Screamer. When a more subtle setting of the gain control is dialed in, the result is the perfect “Blues Tone” — adding more bite and “goosing” the midrange (with sweet tube-like harmonics), while still keeping the tone of the player’s favorite tube amp. The Alberta delivers the goods, night after night.

T-Rex pedals are handcrafted in Denmark and offer a 2 year unconditional warranty.

I'm using the Alberta after my Crybaby Wah, into a Tc-electronics D-two Delayunit going into my Hi-watt Dr103 head-into 4*12 Marshall 360 watt cab. The pedal is not very noisy compared to many Boss-dist.-pedals, not even at full gain, and full volume, only a bit, but to archieve the sound i want, i only set the Gain and Vol at 'bout 7 o'clock, and there's no problem at all. The pedal is Wellknown in europe by a lot of bluesmusicians, and is the best bluespedal for that rough sound with a rather sharp edge.

There's no manual for this T-rex Alberta Distortion-pedal, but with only gain, tone and a Volume-button, I don't need any manual, even thou it would be nice with a "Suggested settings"-guide. It's rather easy to use, and you really get a cool sound right away.

It's a very reliable pedal, made of aluminium. A very strong chassis, with the wellknown Switch(the round metalbutton like fx. on marshall footswitchpedals).

The prints inside are very strong, (yes i have opened it, since i'm very interested in electronic), BUT the first Albertapedal was produced in 1995, so i can't tell how good it works after 15 years.

The only possible problem is that the knobs for Volume, Gain and tone, are sitting close to your feet, when you have to step on the pedal, you could maybe damage both the buttons and the inside electronic.

I like Pink Floyd, and David Gilmour's music is packed with a lot of effects, but all the same I am a serious fan of Deep Purple, both Ritchie Blackmore and Steve Morse and Tommy Bolin. They only have two overall sounds, and thats Distortion and Overdrive. This pedal, is just great for me, both to archieve Davids sound, and the old 70' rock sound. Ok, i haven't found the right ovedrivepedal yet, but i'm looking for one. I've played for 'bout 6 years, and have, until now, played on a Marshall Super Lead Plexi 100 Watt Heads, and a fender and a Marshallcombo, and then I didn't own ANY pedal, cuz' i meant that it was better with one amp for every sound- so I ended lined up with 10 different amps or so. But this pedal actually convinced me. Pedals are the easiest way of archieving a cool good sound, but then they have to be good, and this pedal has comed to stay. All big rocknames in my country are using this pedal.

Simon Pontius P Rabenh?j (06/11/2001)

I like the somewhat nasal tone. For many songs I prefer that midrangy guitar sound and Alberta gives me that. Don't like the Tube Screamer. I like the Fulldrive 2 a lot too, but I use these two pedals for different things. I will normally not give a 10, thinking people exaggerate when having recently acquired something. However, having used Alberta for 3-4 years now for almost half of the songs I play, it would be odd if not giving a least 9?

… Well, 3 knobs and a stomp switch. Gain, level, tone. No problem.

Never had a problem.

I play mainly rock and have played guitar for 44 years. For a slightly nasal tone Alberta is best, otherwise I use Fulldrive 2. These 2 pedals are equally important to me and fulfill my needs. Have used both for a couple of years.

Furman SPB8C Stereo Pedalboard with Power Conditioner and Case

Furman SPB8C Stereo Pedalboard with Power Conditioner and Case

Often imitated, the original Furman SPB-8 was the first stereo pedal board on the market. Now Furman is proud to offer its successor, the SPB-8C. Featuring a new hardshell case, more outlets, improved jacks, and a streamlined look, the SPB-8C improves on the innovative design that made the original pedal board so popular.

Pedal Board

The SPB-8C pedal board features a heavy duty metal construction that will handle the most forceful stomps you can offer, as well as stand up to the rigors of the road.

At the heart of the SPB-8C pedal board is a light yet rugged polycarbonate platform in combination with an extruded aluminum chassis and an ample 13.75 x 26.75 in. Velcro sheet. This durable construction ensures secure, non-slip performance of your effects boxes and pedals.

The SPB-C’s stereo patch bay contains eight 1/4 in. switching phone jacks featuring sturdy metal bushings, connected in two stereo loops. This allows a single guitar or instrument input to feed multiple mono and stereo effects boxes, send and return from remote effects, and feed up to two amplifiers simultaneously. From modest to highly complex patching demands, the SPB-8C allows nearly unlimited set-up flexibility.

Powering your pedals, amps and other gear, the SPB-8C offers two levels of surge and short circuit protection, as well as Furman’s standard level of RFI/EMI filtering. Furman’s SPB-8C is quiet, powering DC pedals without hum, due to the high quality toroid transformer employed. Each DC output is rated at 120 mA, as well as being individually protected against shorts, guaranteeing that if one pedal goes out, the rest will continue to function. Further, these DC outputs are individually isolated, eliminating noisy ground loops. The SPB-8C also includes four AC outlets, spaced widely enough to accommodate bulky ‘wall wart’ transformers.

Hardshell Case

The Furman SPB-8’s nylon gig bag has been replaced with a new, durable polyethylene hardshell case. Built to cater to the demands of the working professional, the case is large enough to accommodate the pedal board and all attached effects, allowing the musician to keep all pedals and stompboxes patched and connected from gig to gig. A retractable handle and inline skate wheels allow for easy transport, while heavy duty latches ensure the case will remain securely closed when not in use.

Much better than the SPB-8.

My SPB-8 failed me within the first 20 hours. I exchanged it for this. This seems like much better quality, not just because of the hard case, handle and wheels. I use a Hot Spot power supply for effects going through the loop, so there's no noise. I'm not sure if I actually need to do that with the SPB-8C, but I did with the SPB-8. The velcro carpeting doesn't feel like it'll hold pedals as well as the SPB-8, but none have fallen off yet.
<p>I just got it today after exchanging my failed SPB-8. Hopefully this one fares better.

Best thing I ever did!!

Being that I am older and can afford better toys I picked up The Furman. It was one of the best upgrades I have done in years. The only thing that I had problems with was the velcro would not stay on the bottom of my pedals. I was able to put to use some of the Guitar gear that I was not using because of the space on the board and it's features. Best thing I ever did!! Dusty
