What's the difference?!

I've tried many guitars, and this one is almost the same as a regular Fender Strat!!! It plays well and stays in tune well. The pickups are work perfectly too! This is a very good guitar.

ESP know their stuff!

This guitar is amazing. I bought this guitar and straight away put it through an amp. Most versatile guitar sounds ever, can play just about anything and the neck is good as well. strings are a fair bit apart so if your just starting out or wanting to learn or whatever, its very very easy to pick each string.

"Looks hot, sounds awesome with more frets than normal and a thin neck, also quite light, what more could you want?"

Looks very aggresive, an obvious metal guitar.

I believe it's definatley worth the money, it's a great guitar and very cheap.

The guitar seems to be very hard wearing (considering the abuse mine gets versus the very small damage to it) and is well made.

The company helped me pick the guitar I wanted and threw in a deal with it, they also helped me pick out a hard wearing wah pedal.

It sounds really great but could use a little more output and a little less noise but hey they're single coils. Sound is really bright and edgy especially on the bridge pickup.

This is a beautiful solid ash Squiere Pro Tone Strat with crimson transparent finish and pearloid pick guard. All hardware is gold with vintage style Fender tremolo bridge. It's equipped with Fender 9s for strings and 3 single coils with 5 way switching, volume, and 2 tone controls. If it was equipped from the factory with locking tuners I would've given it a 10 in this category…I know picky, picky.

Factory setup was a bit high but felt good to me. Guitar store included lifetime free maintenance and setups so that has been corrected. The fit and finish of this guitar is simply awesome. The strings were a little corroded and the hardware needed polished but the guitar had been hanging in the guitar shop for 3 years. The dealer fixed it all up right with new strings and polished the hardware up.

I don't know about Fender but my dealer seems to be solid although they charged my wife way too much for the guitar….but then again I get lifetime free maintenance and setups. I think I could've got the price down more if we had tried a little harder.

Pretty Standard…

Well, I bought this off e-bay (bad place to buy guitars) and it turned out pretty okay. Granted, it wasn't setup, but once it was it was a pretty good guitar for my first electric. It can take some distortion pretty well, but the humbucker doesn't get a tone control AT ALL! That kinda made me a bit ticked, but it's great for begginers.

Good Starter

This was my first guitar I have been an avid player for four years now. This is a fantastic guitar to start on the neck is very comfortable and easy to play. The fret work is good. My only problem with it is the whammy-bar, which kills your tuning, which was not great to begin with. Apart from that it is a versatile light weight guitar that is comfortable to play and sounds great.

Anonymous Musician (Feb 21, 2009)

Great sounding guitar, it has that famous strat tone that we all love. It's a great guitar for blues, and I even play some rock and jazz on it. The single coil pickups tend to be very noisy though, so you often have to play with two pickups in order to get rid of the buzz. This is a hassle…

21 Frets

Volume, Tone Control, 5-Way Selector

3 Single Coils

Basic Controls for the tone selection you need.

This guitar was pretty poorly set up, I had to have it fixed up at the shop. The bridge and the pickups were fine however. There were no other flaws besides the action.

Best Stratocaster value you will find

Positives:
The neck is top-notch. Beautiful, amber finish on a perfectly quartered one-piece maple neck… The vintage-style tuners (probably Gotoh's) operate smoothly and stay in tune well. The two-tone sunburst is pretty much flawless (more on that later), and the two-piece alder body looks good. The frets are medium-jumbo, which makes bending easier.

Really nails that "vintage Strat" sound, but is hum-cancelling at the 2 & 4 positions Nit-picks: The fret ends are a little sharp (fixed with the gentle application of a file) The 5 or 6 small (under 1mm) white dots that appear in the finish (bubble?) under the clear coat. They used “aged” pickup covers and knobs, I think they should have used an “aged” pickguard, too. I would DEFINITELY recommend this guitar.
Great Guitar

I bought this as my daughter's first guitar. We are both beginners in our playing. I had purchased an Epiphone Les Paul for me which I also like. But, this guitar is easier to play and is much lighter which works well for her. After taking her to her first lesson, her teacher said that she will be playing this guitar for as long as she wants. He seemed genuinely impressed with it.
