Sorta good, sorta bad…

I bought this along with a Gibson 3-pickup Flying V. First of all, what I received was NOT the case pictured. I'm pretty sure Epiphone has discontinued the broom-shaped cases, because the case I got was rectangular. At first sight, it seemed to be pretty good quality, and the cargo area inside the case was cavernous.

I still recommend buying THIS case over the more expensive Gibson case, but get ready to hack away part of the case.

Potential,, Lots of Potential

So far this suits my playing styles… it would be better if the stupid thing didn't microphoniclly(*sp) FEEDBACK. No worries im putting a ToneZone7 into the bridge and a BLAZE into the neck, as for the stock pickups,, I have always needed new coasters. i know epiphones ALL have one common problem and thats their pickup switching, so i had it replaced before i left the store. Its got a load of tones waiting to be pulled from its pointy body. im just waiting till my DiMarzio's nest home. then we will see the SQUEELLLing im gonna do…. he he he he ;0)

Dunno the Manufacture date, but i purchased it from a Long and McQuade in April 2003

22 Frets

2 Vol / Combo Tone, HUM/HUM (stock)

Korina Body

I purchased this guitar for the same reason any "Car Guy" would purchase a rusted'67 Vette. TO MODIFY ITS SEXYNESSS

The setup was low and great, mostly because i love playing (trying to play) Dream Theatre, and Johnny does a lot of moving, and I need that quicker edge. I dont think there is a good way to position those pickups, except for thr fore-mentioned coasters. they have this UGLY FEEDBACK… a Squeel, but a bad one… like the one Babe makes when he see's Wilur's Baccon Truck. I do LOVE the modern balck finish contrasted by the gold hardware.. verry SEXY. and i love the tuner's,, except that the high G/B/E strings are wound backwards on the headstock. im just too lazy to fix it until i buy new strings.

Well if they wired their own server and telephone lines,, they are srewwed. lol… But like i said before, this guitar was only baught for the body.. I changed the switching already and im going to change the pickups. So what business does Epiphone have when the only Epiphone on it, is the body.

Excellent. There is no signal loss and the optical switching is totally silent. Something to watch out for though: if you are running two effect chains into 1 or 2 amps like I do, beware of hiss and hum from your off chain. This completely bypasses your signal before it, but you still need to block those hissy pedals behind it, so you'll need a couple of Noise Gates also…

Incredibly easy to use. You have 1 in/out 1/4" and A and B. I connect my guitar in, the outs go to two different efect chains and back into 1 or 2 amps (depending on the day…). There was a little instruction sheet included. One bonus I found on this pedal, while you have BOTH amps switched on, you can change which amp you want on when you click the BOTH off by clicking the AB switch. Example: I have A on, going into the chorus, I switch BOTH, when I come out of the chorus I want B on, so somewhere during the chorus, I switch the AB switch and when I click off the BOTH switch, I'm playing into amp B. This makes life so much easier, since I'm usually singing or clicking my wah on/off at those times also.

Very well built. I wouldn't hesitate to gig with it. I did buy a second.

This is an excellent pedal. I use on on a guitar set up with various stompboxes, and one on a keyboard rig to share effects. This switch is awesome. Much better than the Morley and Dod variations I had before.

I can be very picky about anything that may alter my tone. This box does exactly what is is intended to do without any audible difference in my tone. It seems to have zero self noise. I use it to split my signal leaving my pedal board. One side goes to a Mesa F-50, the other side to a Fender Princeton 2×10 Stereo Chorus. It doesn;t matter if I'm sending a clean signal or a heavily distorted signal through the chain – there's no alteration of my tone.

Extremely easy to use, install a 9v battery (only to illuminate your selection) and she's ready to go.

No manual needed. Switching is silent and firm.

after several gigs and rehearsals, it seems to be built like a tank. I don;t think I'll need to purchase a back up.

I play R&B, reggae, rock. I absolutely would replace it if lost or stolen. I didn't see the sense in the Lehle or Boss units – they give you the ability to add a few db of gain to either amp. Seems like an expensive way (especially the Lehle) to alter (good or bad) you hard earned tone.

ProStageGear PSGFC Electric Guitar Flight Case with Gig Bag vs. Gator GCELECXL Deluxe ABS Extra Long Fit-All Electric Guitar Case

ProStageGear PSGFC Electric Guitar Flight Case with Gig Bag

ProStageGear PSGFC Electric Guitar Flight Case with Gig Bag

Finally a solution for the frequent flying guitarist!

Traditionally, flight cases for guitars have been either grossly overbuilt and

overweight, or cheap and flimsy. PSG solution is simple; build a case that has

all the essential elements and leave out the fluff and crushed velvet. The

new ProStageGear flight case/gig bag combination meets the weight limit

restriction of 50 pounds or less for all checked baggage on commercial

airlines. If your guitar fits into a gig bag (and who’s doesn’t) you can

fly it in a ProStageGear case. A unique feature of ProStageGear’s new design is that it allows you to travel with a wide variety of guitars as the interior is not a foam cutout for a particular body shape or style. To protect your valuable instrument, they’ve included adjustable interior foam blocks to reinforce the critical neck and headstock area and the base of the case is lined with 1/4 inch of dense rubberized foam while the lid has thick soft foam protection.

Many musicians who fly with their guitars end up having to stuff their gig

bags into their luggage to use once they arrive at their destination to avoid

having to drag their heavy flight case around during their stay. With the

ProStageGear Guitar Flight Case Combo the gig bag is ready to go while the

outer flight case can be stored in a safe place until the return trip home.

All of our guitar flight cases have low profile recessed wheels on one end so

you can roll it around with ease. ProStageGear is so excited about this new design they’re throwing in a free ProStageGear gig bag with each one!
