I mainly use a E.B.Music Man J.Petrucci and a old Yamaha with DiMarzio SD at the brigde and PAF at the neck. I play mostly light to heavy rock. The amp is pretty noiseless with the nosegate engaged.

The amp can do all from heavy distorion to clean, but only a few settings sound decent. And the power is limited, best suited for practicing in your living room. When turning the volume up the sound get to harsh. Anyway it`s far to little power, even when practicing in a small room,if there is a drummer in the in the band.I would never consider doing even the smallest gig or bar with this amp.

Made in 2005 . One channel, 32 amp simulations, 15 speaker-cab simulation and lots of effects and other features. 125 storable presets. Easy to operate, but only a few of the features are useful, and you might end up spending more time playing the amp than playing the guitar.

The amp is only two months old and thare has been no problems so far.

But I never would use it on a gig with or without a backup. I even have a back up when practicing in my living room.

Been playing on and off for 40 years and gone through a few amps such as Marshall combo`s and stacks, Fender Twin and Gallien Kruger.

If it were stolen I probably would not even care.

I like alle the features it is suppose to have, but I dislike that only a few are useful and that it sounds terrible above half power.

I compared it to a Vox AD 50 Valvtronic. The Behringer is easyer to operate, but it has less power and overall inferior sound.

Anyway if you need an amp for practicing at very low soundlevels, it`s a decent sounding amp and it`s very low priced. For that purpose I would give it a 9 rating.

3rd review!! and last one i promise!! the auto wah is very good actually – as is the noise gate and hi gain amps – just need to tweak and play.

AND the compressor can be used along side all the other modulation if you download the Behringer editing software (you have to select available downloads for V-amp Pro, if you select V-ampire it wont show any available!) you will also need MIDI cables to use the software. I have the old fashioned kind going into the game port on my soundcard. I couldnt get it working at first but i Joined V-amp Group at Yahoo and they had a lot of useful information = turns out my MIDI port was switched off in my BIOS – i followed the instructions to turn it back on and SHAZZAM! in business!.

This thing has some very deep editing potential when using the software – I think the features of this amp at this price should be rated 12 at least!! please disregard my negative statements (below) = they were down to User error/stoopidity ;)

I can highly reccommend this amp!

Vox DA20 Digital Guitar Combo Amplifier (20 Watt, 2×8 in.)

Vox DA20 Digital Guitar Combo Amplifier (20 Watt, 2x8 in.)

Based on the popular DA5 digital amp, the new DA20 combines higher power with the same great tone and go-anywhere portability of their smaller sibling. Like the DA5, the DA20 offers the option of running on battery power, so you can take the jam session literally anywhere!

Loaded with tone, at home or to go

The 20-Watt DA20 offers 11 distinctive sound styles ranging from clean to high gain, 11 great sounding, digital effects, a “knob-based†control panel that’s really easy to use, plus a whole lot more. Designed to take the show on the road, both of the new DA amps can be cranked up at 5 Watts on battery power (6 x C batteries, not included).

Great sounding effects

The versatility of the DA10 and DA20 extends to a full complement of 11 digital effects. Both amps feature auto-wah, chorus + delay, chorus + reverb, compressor, compressor + chorus, compressor + phaser, delay, flanger + reverb, reverb, rotary + reverb, and tremolo + reverb. There’s also a Tap Button that makes it easy to set the delay time or modulation speed. And like the larger AD Series or “Valvetronix†amps, editing the effects parameters on the DA10 and DA20 is simple.

Double up the tone

The DA20 is equipped with two VOX original design speakers. The DA20 packs a punch with 2 x 8-inch speakers, the DA10 comes with 2 x 6.5-inch speakers. With the VOX DA amplifiers, you don’t have to sacrifice great tone for portability and ease of use!

Play it anywhere, any way!

The DA20 can be powered by its AC adapter or by six C batteries. A built-in output power switch (MAX, 1.5W, 0.5W) helps extend battery life and lets you play at lower volume without losing any tone or feel.

That’s not the only trick these tone machines have to offer. The DA20 comes equipped with an AUX IN which allows you to connect an external audio device such as a CD or MP3 player, plus a MIC INPUT to connect a microphone. Just plug your guitar in, and you can play and sing along with your favourite band or recording!

Great for practicing and recording

The DA20 is equipped with a combination Line/Headphone output so you can connect to a headphone, mixer or recorder. The amps’ emulated line out provides a full, realistic sound whether you’re recording direct or listening through headphones. And since plugging into the jack defeats the speaker output, you can practice when you want, where you want, and as loud as you want in total privacy.

Great sounding. Great looking too. The DA20 is dressed in black vinyl with black chrome grilles.

"Metalocolypes"

i think this amp really caught my eye the most because of the grill on the front and could then tell that this amp was all about heavy metal.

i got this baby from parker music in houston texas for 150 dollars and it was unused and i was expenentialy happy

it gets chipped easily on the sides but all in all, its preety good

i dont know what support means because im 14 so im giving it a ten

I like it

This is a nice little amp with tons of versatility. I've had it almost 6 months and no real complaints. It has a nice tone with the 2×8's and perfect for practice and recording. Blues/Classic rock tones are very smooth (what I really wanted it for). I did find the master tone control to be a bit limiting after awhile, but have since hooked it up to a Pod XT Live and have total control over the settings and it does everything well now. For a small bedroom setup this does everything you'll ever need. The battery power comes in handy when the house looses power or if you plan to play somewhere a power supply isn't available. As a side note that turned out to be a big plus is I plug my walkman and Ipod into it and it sounds better then my sony stereo cd player.

The S series’ sleek, comfortable mahogany bodies, double-locking ZR tremolos and high-gain IBZ INF pickup combos make these guitars stand out among other guitars that have less features and don’t look half as good. S470DXQM features a Mahogany body and Quilted Maple top.

Series Features:

Big, heavy tone without the big heavy body. Super sleek S guitars provide complete playing freedom and comfort. New finishes complement the unique S arched back and top.

Thin fast, and flat Wizard and Wizard II necks allow effortless fretwork.

ZR bridge w/ZPS spring system.

Have you seen the headlines? “Guitar rock is back.”

We’re happy to hear it. Except at Ibanez, guitar rock never “left” – and if you’re the type of player who reads Ibanez catalogs, you’ve been too busy playing guitar or bass to worry a whole lot about the media’s take on music. However, the papers are right about one thing: there are more new guitar and bass guitar styles than ever before. That’s why there are more different kinds of guitars and basses in the 2003 Ibanez line up.

Ibanez S470DXQM Quilted Maple Electric Guitar Features…

Wizard II Neck – 25.5 scale neck is 2mm thicker than the super-thin, super-flat Ibanez Wizard.

Maple Neck Material

Mahogany Body – Mahogany provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain.

Quilted Maple Top

22 Jumbo Frets – Jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording.

Bound Rosewood Finger Board

My Newest and Favorite Electric Guitar

I bought this guitar about a year ago and it is by far my favorite electric. The Zero Point tremolo system is something I had never seen before. It is absolutely an amazing system, dive bombs and overall tremolo usage is very easy with this system. The neck has a great shape and is easy to traverse. The guitar in general is light and very comfortable to play and is great for both rhythm and lead players. This is a perfect guitar for the Metal and Rock guitarist.

My style is whatever I feel like playing. Mostly Blues. I play through a Fender Blues Junior sometimes with a Digi RP-80. Pickups are noisy as hell at any volume setting above 5 but easily workable. You can get anything from clean to chunky to serious drive out of this guitar. I dont like the way the Bigsby has the strings slide across flat areas rather than rollers. I always feel like a string is about to pop, as well you can hear it if you divebomb the trem, the cracking noise of the strings I mean.

2005 Natural Semi-Hollow Body Archtop. Made in Korea. The top I believe is laminate. 1 Master volume, 2 volume pots (one for each pickup) and one single tone pot. Alnico-P90's, 3 way selector, Real Grover tuners and a real Bigsby trem.

GC setup was really good. Pickups were adjusted perfectly. My friendly neighborhood luthier didnt have to change anything. There were no flaws with this guitar, it came dang near perfect.

Warranty page on thier website only went to 2005. Jan 10th I called Epiphone to let them know I couldnt register my warranty because of that (had to leave a message). The next night I recieved a call back and they promptly sent me the registration form and now Im getting all sorts of catalogs from Gibson.

Jerry (02/19/2006)

The sound is rich, mid-rangy compared to the others I have. Pots a little scratchy. I plan to spray some tuner/cleaner in them soon. I use a Univox combo amp with a 12" speaker tp practice (it's all tube-old and vintage) and it sounds good with the Wildkat. Im use a Sovtek that I had hot rodded (new pots, a master volume-and other upgrades) on stage. It has 50 watts and when cranked-it smokes.

Got mine used from a pawn shop. It's the turquoise color, and I like the color. Mine has the "official" bigsby. Never had a Bigsby before and when I put strings on it it was really tough(I hate to re-string any of the guitars I have). It has the grovers and whover had it beofre I did must have hardly played, it was really like new when I cleaned it up. Has the P-90's which sound good. I like the bound fretboard and body-it looks quality for the price. Can't tell where it was made, but probably it was Korea.

When I first got it, I had to set the intonation for 11's I put on it. Was not out much. A problem I found was 2 slightly high frets on 2 string locations. I took my files to them, polished them out and now the action is as good as any of my guitars. I don't like doing this, but for the money tis cost, it's all you should expect. I raised the neck PU by placing thin pieces of cork underneath the screws that hold the PU on. It is now closer to the strings and sounds fuller-you can't see the cork either. Binding is good, finish thick and rich.

Don't expect I'll use it….
